Welcome to A Second Chance

As an all volunteer foster-based rescue group, successful adoption stories are the only compensation we seek! Our Foster Caretakers, who spend weeks or months loving the animals in their care, always want to know how their “babies” are doing once they have found their forever homes. We hope that the adoption of a pet is not the end of a process but the beginning of a relationship between A Second Chance Puppies and Kittens Rescue and our adoptive families. Lovebug

Hi Ruth and Kathy, Cobra is doing awesome. She does her business outside, she can sit, lay down, come and give her paw. The first time on a leash she ate the leash...now she walks right next to me and heels and stops on command. Like a pro! She does have a licking fetish and will daily try to lick my face off. As odd as it sounds she will also sing on command. She sometimes has a bit of a snoring issue when she sleeps, but we have decided to overlook that one minor flaw. She eats like a horse and weighs 25lbs now!!! I've attached a recent pic of my innocent dog caught with my Gatoraide bottle....note her chain stuck on the bottle.
