Hello, I came into the rescue with my 3 siblings & only use of 3 of my legs! The wonderful Dr. Ciucci at Gardens Animal Hospital performed a FHO surgery to repair my hip and femur from an accident when I was too little to even remember. After surgery, home with my foster mommy, I discovered I could really run. The doctor said my leg is all healed so I can run and play. My foster mom has so many compliments for me, she says I'm beautiful, intelligent, resilient, happy, playful and something like food motivated(?) but I think that's mommy telling people I like to eat. I am crate trained, leash trained and working hard on getting house broken, and I'm vocal about explaining to mom why I need another snack or still want to play (or sleep) in the sun. So my fur will cover my scar but my tail will always have a different personality due to being broken when I was small. I'd love to join your family, I love other dogs, kids over 5 and I am fine with cats. Be sure to read up on my breed, I've got energy!
