Yonita, A/K/A Mimi, was rescued from Animal Care & Control with kennel cough.  She has recovered fully from the kennel cough and has put on a little bit of weight. However, she has a condition called paroxysmal respiration or reverse sneezing.  This condition is not life threatening and does not hurt her.  Please do your reasearch about this condition before you complete an application for her. 

She is the sweetest little girl.  Mimi is the definition of a “lap dog”, she loves to be held and will follow you everywhere just to be in the same room with you.  Mimi is housebroken, but she is still a puppy and will need to have someone continue to train her.  Mimi is crate trained and does obey basic commands (i.e. sit, stay, come).

She gets along with dogs her own size, but has a problem with dogs bigger than her.  We are working on this.
