Alke is really a wonderful dog! She's past the puppy stage so shes not into chewing toys or anything for that matter unless its a bone..She loves those! She is energetic on her walks and if you're up fo some play time she'll be the first to grab the ball, if you're ready for a nap, she'll race you to the bed. Overall, she is pretty mellow and satisfied just watching tv or hanging around the house. She is housebroken. Easy to handle on a leash. She is soooo loving. She gives kisses all the time and loves belly rubs. She loves to snuggle on your lap and cuddle in bed. When her foster mom comes home from work she is the happiest out of all her other dogs. She comes when she is called and knows simple commands. She really listens if you tell her off the couch or the bed. She goes off and stays off. You may not guess this... but she loves to swim.  She just saw a lake for the first time and jumped right in.  She was fixated on the water. After that, she took a trip to the beach and once again, just jumped in and ran back and forth. Alke is a little hesitant with new people and a little protective over those who love her, but she when she is reminded, who is boss she becomes a ball of mush again!
