Evan and Mr. Eko were left in a box on a volunteer's doorstep.  He is a little shy at first but a real sweetheart once he get gets to know you and is becoming more brave every day.  He and his brother both like being held, especially against your chest, and the feeling of being safe and protected.  He and his brother are very playful, though Eko is a beta personality, while Evan, even at a small size, wants to be the alpha cat over the entire household.

Dogs: He is quite afraid of dogs right now, but seems to be making a lot of progress in dealing with the more slobbery species in the last week that they have been introduced at his foster's home.  Someone with tolerant dogs who can give him a separate place to go to feel safe will probably be able to convert him to a dog-friendly cat in time.
