Elsie is a real sweetheart.  About two and a half years old, 30 pounds full grown, Boston Terrier/Shepherd mix, she came from a home where she was very neglected and arrived with double ear infections , dirt, fleas, dirt, skin reaction to flea bites , and dirt.  She has allowed me to nurse her without one complaint. She is flea free and we are working on her skin issues. One ear is clear – the other was really bad and still being treated.

Elsie is housetrained! She does not walk on carpeting unless she is invited. She does not climb onto the sofa. She does not beg for food at the dinner table and patiently waits her turn for a treat.  :)

She gets along great with all other animals – she's very laid back.  She is wonderful with kids and would be a loving pet in any home.  She seems to know she has been saved from a horrible life and is very grateful for the attention she receives. 

My husband wants to keep her - a first - but she deserves a home where she can get the attention she deserves. She is very mothering to my other foster and would do well in any household with other pets. She has been great with my chihuahuas - so if you have a smaller pet not to worry.
