Gemma is a young cat found pregnant, looking for attention from people at a Walgreens. She was very happy to let someone pick her up and take her to safety.  Her gorgeous intense peridot-green eyes earned her the name Green Eyed Momma which we shortened to Gemma.  It seems that no one can pass by Gemma without commenting about her gorgeous her eyes.

She is a beautiful young cat who had kittens at too young of an age, so despite our best efforts, three out of four did not survive.  However, she accepted two orphan kittens into her family, Tomi and Dancer.  Another, Blondie, just joined the litter as well.  Her baby, Tina, is a total sweetheart.  A beautiful tortie color, and those two are very close.  If you are thinking of ever having more than one cat, we suggest you consider adopting them together.  You'll be hitting the jackpot of sweetness and love!

With cats: Gemma isn't very fond of other cats other than her babies because she is so small and got bullied when she was living on her own, but she'll come around to other cats if you give her several weeks to adjust.

Dogs:  She's ok with dogs who give her space, but overeager and overly curious ones scare her.
