Description: Meet Thomas. Thomas is a little tank of a cat, he's short and sturdy and chugs along by purring! He is only 10 months old and had been fending for himself on the streets. He visited his foster a few times and amazed her with how friendly he was, immediately purring and rolling over for tummy rubs, he wouldn't stay long and disappeared quickly. On December 26th he showed back up and he was not in good shape. He was very hungry and had many open wounds on his body, he also could not eat properly. His foster managed to coax him into a carrier and then into a tent to see how to help. Even though he was obvioulsy distressed and in pain he was nothing but sweet and loving. Thomas was taken in to see Dr. Fox at Riverbridge Animal Hospital and was given a complete exam. Turns out poor Thomas most likely stepped in or ate some kind of irritant and that was what caused the wounds and his poor tongue was almost raw. No wonder he couldn't eat :( Dr. Fox and his staffed fixed up Thomas and he came home with his foster for some rehab and snuggles. He will need a couple of weeks to recover and be 100% and when he is ready he would love to meet you!
UPDATE: Thomas is fully recovered from all his wounds and is ready for his forever home!
