Success Stories

As an all volunteer foster-based rescue group, successful adoption stories are the only compensation we seek! Our Foster Caretakers, who spend weeks or months loving the animals in their care, always want to know how their “babies” are doing once they have found their forever homes. We hope that the adoption of a pet is not the end of a process but the beginning of a relationship between A Second Chance Puppies and Kittens Rescue and our adoptive families. Bailey

Bailey is just what our neighbor Betsy needed. She and Bailey are always together and it was a very smooth transition, with no issues. Thanks for bringing Bailey to Betsy's home. Betsy doesn't do computers, so we answer for her. Mike Galen

Berri

Hi, We want to let you know Bailey (formerly Berri) is the best dog in the USA. She is fully trained, doesn't bark and loves being around people. Bailey loves going to the dog park every week to meet up with her friends. She sleeps with Matt if you recall. Matt is the one that adopted her at the American Heritage football game. Bailey loves chilling on our patio watching the sights. We went to Goodwill and bought some dog safe dolls and she loves carrying the around. We brag about your organization all the time as we think you are the best around. Thank you for everything. Enclosed is a picture of our Bailey. Michele and Matt Lowy

Batman

Batman is just great! Our children love him and he is now our other dog "Bella's" best buddy. He is funny, and energetic! He eats alot in spite of his little self. The Vet said he is very healthy. Belle

Hello. Belle is probably the most incredible cat I have ever had. She fits in perfectly with our family and is loved by everyone. It only took her a few days to get comfortable with her new home and to find her place within it. She sleeps with me every night and even has her own favorite spot on the family couch. I couldn't imagine her not being here with us. Thank you.

Bitsy

Bitsy is doing fabulous she has gotten on well with our other dog they are best buddies she runs him around and he is a huge shepard bordercollie mix. They love spending time at the barn playing. She loves her new family and we love her. She needs some work in the potty training department and she has a crate to help with this. She is a blessing and we love her me and my three daughters shower her with love and attention. When we say benson (her puppy) she gets a sad face. Our cats don't appreciate her much but everyone is adjusting well. Laurene capone (bitsy's new mom)
