Hi Kathy, Chris and I are so happy we made the decision to adopt Bella (aka -Elita), she is an amazing puppy, very loving, active, and smart! We are having a lot of fun with her and making full effort in training her which she was adapted well to the crate training which has also helped a great deal with house-breaking her. Bella is very friendly and loves people, children and other dogs. We live in a community with a lot of other dogs so she has made several friends here. We also bring her with us on weekends to the dog beach in Juno Beach or parks, and sometimes downtown West Palm. She is very social and I think it's great we have introduced her to that at an early age. I have attached a few photos - I take her picture all the time so she's now use to it and will pose for me :) Thank you for checking in and for emailing us, we know how much each dog means to your oganization and it's wonderful what you do for all the animals! Emmie

Dear Second Chance, Emmie is doing fantastic! She has adapted very well to her new home. We found that she loves to play soccer with her tennis ball, and run around the backyard with our other dog, Zero. They are great friends now. They spend their afternoons wrestling and playing tug-of-war, and when they are all worn out they make their way inside to the couch for a nap. She is now at a very healthy weight, and she is getting better at listening. Emmie is also very affectionate, once someone sits down on the couch next to her she immediately jumps up on them for kisses and hugs. We just love the new addition to our family! Elvis

Hello, Thank you for following up! We adopted Elvis & Eddie who are brothers and they are doing fantastic! They have adjusted to a busy life with us and have 5 fun children to play with everyday. They wear my 2 year old out running all over the backyard everyday with him and yet are so gentle with him. I sent their foster mom some pics too and thanked her for being their foster family. They are still so cuddly and love to lick! We are working on potty training and they are very smart. Rewards and lots of love is working very well! My 4 year old was very afraid of animals and now she adores Elvis & Eddie. They have helped her overcome her fear! I've sent you a picture of her with them on the floor. Elphaba

Elphaba is doing great. She is a joy to have around and has made my life so much better.

As you may or may not know she was extremely timid at first but she has warmed up to me rather quickly. She follows me around the house and at night she goes upstairs, jumps up on the bed and gives out a "quiet" bark to let me know it's bedtime...lol! Also, she really enjoys our walks around the lake and trips to the beach :)

I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone at "A Second Chance Rescue" for the amazing work they do. Special thanks to Lisa Beadle and Ruth Douthitt!

Hi! I just wanted to let you guys know how well Ernie is doing. He is so sweet and he gets along with my other cat Teddy swimmingly. I've never in my life met a cat who taps on your shoulder while you're at the computer so that you can pet him! He has been such a wonderful addition to our family and we love him dearly.
