Animal Success Stories

As an all volunteer foster-based rescue group, successful adoption stories are the only compensation we seek!  Our Foster Caretakers, who spend weeks or months loving the animals in their care, always want to know how their “babies” are doing once they have found their forever homes.  We hope that the adoption of a pet is not the end of a process but the beginning of a relationship between A Second Chance Puppies and Kittens Rescue and our adoptive families.  If you’ve adopted a dog or cat from us, please share your story!  Success Stories and pictures can be sent to adoptions@asecondchancerescue.org.

Tyson

Hi, Tyson is doing great. He has quadrupled in size though. Initially, he had an agression problem, I think because he was so much younger than the other puppies. But now he's very protective of them (because now he's three times bigger than the other pups :)) I don't have any recent pics but I'll send what I have.
Blessings,
Lee

Titan

Tzvi
Tzvi

We are enjoying Axel. He is fun to have around. We have continued to see Dr. Fox as his vet. I'm sorry I did not get back sooner. We were out of town for spring break, then my Mother had a stroke. She is finally making progress but it has kept me busy. I must say that when I come home from the hospital, I look forward to seeing Axel and our other dog Pepper. Sandy

Taglit
Taglit

Hi! I apologize for the delay in getting back you about how we are doing with taglit as a new addition to our family. She is amazing! We are having so much fun with her, and she is learning new tricks and skills everyday. We spoil her rotten with toys and our time, but we are also working hard on making sure that she is well behaved and safe. We enrolled her in puppy classes, and she is doing well. We are all learning a lot and having a good time. We couldn't imagine our lives without her. I will send some pictures as soon as i get them uploaded to the computer. Thanks again for this amazing opportunity and for your wonderful organization Sara Tylukti.

Tootsie

Hi there, Tootsie now known as Tabatha, is doing great. She has doubled in size since we brought her home, and has gotten very used to playing with our three year old son and our older dog Shena. She loves to nap outside any chance she gets. Tabatha is a very sweet puppy and we are so glad she is part of our family. Thanks Christina
