Success Stories

As an all volunteer foster-based rescue group, successful adoption stories are the only compensation we seek! Our Foster Caretakers, who spend weeks or months loving the animals in their care, always want to know how their “babies” are doing once they have found their forever homes. We hope that the adoption of a pet is not the end of a process but the beginning of a relationship between A Second Chance Puppies and Kittens Rescue and our adoptive families. Thank you for the e-mail. We love the puppy and his name is now Juneau. He is very smart and cute - of course. Potty training is a challenge but he is making it through the night for the most part. Here are some pictures of him as well.

Faith is doing great.(Changed the name) She has fit right into the family. She is house broken thanks to the 2 year old dog I have. She is almost 18 lbs already and growing fast. She has seen Dr. Fox and is due for her Rabies on October 17. She was seen by my vet as well and had a bath and her nails clipped. Remind me in an e-mail and I will send pictures at a later date. My name is Jessica. We adopted a dog from A Second Chance Rescue and her name used to be Ying Yang. She's a black lab mix. We renamed her Roxi and she has grown so big and healthy. She loves our other dog, Sandy. We wanted to give you updated pictures of her and tell you how shes doing.
