Bolt

Bolt is the luckiest dog around or maybe we are! He gets love 24/7. He goes walking 4 times a day, 2 long walks (50 min) and 2 short walks (20 min). He jogs with me 3 times a week and goes to the dog park 3 to 4 times a week.

He has made many friends at home and at the park as well. He loves his next door friend, Darla. They love to roll around on the grass. We love him so much and can't imagine life without him. He brings us so much joy and I know we do the same for him.

Little bundle of joy he is; though we are having a bit of a challenge leash training him. Other than that he's loyal, ready to please, and ever energetic.

First, I would like to thank you for all the wonderful work that your organization does. As an adoptive parent, the process was not without hurdles and I appreciate that. It might take a little longer to adopt through A Second Chance, but it is truly for the benefit of the animal as well as the human - so that we may form a lasting bond and find the perfect fit for each of us.

I fell in love with Apollo (formerly ET) the moment that I saw him at Petco. There were no ifs, ands, or buts about it - we would be together forever. When I saw him for the first time, he was playing with his brother. But, when I walked to the cage, he saw me, stopped, and sat down. I was instantly enamoured. As we took each other for a walk around the store, he showed what a baby he really was by bunching up in my arms and nuzzling my neck. I...was...a...goner. As I finished the paperwork, my boyfriend and his mother (because it is a family affair with us), picked out his harness, leash, and toys - with Apollo leading the way! Then, he went for his first car ride.

When we walked into his new home, the first thing he did was lay down in what is now known as "Bubba's Blanket" and has been our baby ever since. As we celebrate Apollo's 7th month birthday (he gets VERY excited about this) we reflect on what life was like before him - we can't even remember it. The saying is true, "Dog is a man's best friend." He is loved by everyone he encounters and we are so thankful that a chance meeting turned into a wonderful chapter of our lives filled with laughter and love.

I am so grateful to A Second Chance Rescue. Without it, I never would have met the love of my life and the piece of our family that was missing. Thank you again for everything that you do. You are a blessing.

Bailey

Just letting you know that Bailey is doing wonderfully. She is such a sweetheart. We are already in love with her.

Dixie, as she is now known, is so good that she sleeps through the night in her crate, and she enjoys our walks with Daisy in the afternoons. I took her to the office after lunch today, she was a star. She is still a puppy of course and she still has to learn all the rules, but she is doing great. We are working on sit, and she gets better every day. We have attached a picture for you. Thank you again for allowing us to adopt her, you don't know how much she means to us.

Patches

Hi! This is Patches all grown up with his little brother, Capone. Patches has been an amazing dog, easy to deal with and super loving. I want to thank A Second Chance Rescue because without you guys I wouldn't have found my best friend.

Patches is very loving and always wants affection. If he doesn't get it from me, he gets it from my husband or my brother or his little brother, Capone. LOL

I wanted to send you a picture to keep you updated so you can see how cute and well taken care of he is. Thank you soooooo much for everything!
