We love our new little girl. We have changed her name to Lola. She is such a good dog. She enjoys playing with her sister, Sadie. We couldn't imagine our life without her. Thanks for bringing us together. Fondly, M. Migliara

Callye

Well the first change for Callye was her name, we now call her Roxy. Roxy has acclimated to her surroundings very quickly. Roxy loves to run around the house with her toys (and also the kids' socks) in her mouth. She gets plenty of exercise and attention from us.

We are so happy that Roxy picked us to be her adopted family. We taught her how to sit, shake and almost how to stay, she is one smart puppy. Here are a few pictures I took of Roxy.

Ice

Dear Friends at A Second Chance:

Update 8/22/2011: Just wanted to send you some photos of Bruno's (Ice) trip to Nantucket! He flew on the plane and then a ferry boat all the way there. HE DID AMAZING! All over the island people were stopping us asking us to take photos of him. He has such a great personality! He is 7 months now, 28 lbs, getting longer and super healthy! Also, the Margaritas, Mutts and More event was so much fun! Thank you for everything!

Ava

It's been a few days and we wanted to give you an update on Ava (Sarah is keeping her name). She's doing great and has fit right into the craziness of our family! We introduced her to Daisy our alpha dog first, then Bailey separately so each could get to know her…it couldn't have gone better. Now she plays tug-of-war with Bailey, the Puggle, and Daisy is teaching her how to hunt lizards in the back yard. After she does her 'business,' she's allowed off the leash to run around the back yard with the big dogs and is fitting right in!

For right now Sarah is sleeping on the floor with Ava. She has a loft bed so we didn't want Ava to be all alone. Ava has adjusted well and sleeps in the bed we bought her right next to her new mommy. Ava is especially fond of Sarah and follows her all over the house. She's potty training well, uses the pads, misses a few times but will get the hang of it I'm sure! She's eating well and is quite the little piggy! She is very well mannered, so gentle and even knows sit and stay. :)

Thank you all so much for all your help with our adoption. Especially thank Erica too for all the hours of love she gave Ava, it certainly shows! We are so delighted with our new addition to our family. We all love her so much!!

Fuzzy

We just wanted to let you know that "Fuzzy" is now Maddy! She has been to Dr. Fox and her shots are all up to date. She is growing so fast and we are so glad we found her.

Thanks so much for pairing us with the best girl ever! She is having a wonderful time playing outside and loves going on the boat each weekend. We even have a lifejacket for her!
