Biki

Dear Kathy, Biki is doing great and has been renamed Chloe. She had a few minor illnesses when she went for her first check-up, but they have not slowed her down. She is extremely loved by the entire family and is becoming quite spoiled! She has truly been a blessing. Thanks for having this wonderful organization with volunteers (especially Jan) who dedicate their time and love to these wonderful creatures. I have no picture at this time but I promise to send one the next time I'm at my mom's house. Thanks again for bringing joy into our family. Sincerely,

Butterscotch

Kathy: Hello About a month ago I went on your second chance web site under the guest book tab and wrote about Butterscotch . I also hit the contact us button and wrote a paragraph and sent several pictures. Last December we lost our cat of 16 years to health issues. At that time I didn't think I could have another cat as it was so hard for our family when he died. On February 15th I had a total hip replacement, and one day after physical therapy on my walker we went into pet smart to get a gift certificate for my son at college that has a cat. I saw Butterscotch and he was sleeping in the cube with his legs up. I told me husband then, that I had to have him. I was very persistent in calling your agency and finally it happened. I really thought he was the most precious cat I had ever seen. What's funny is that due to my hip I was not supposed to be out at all, other than going to the doctor. The night we adopted I could barely stand on my walker I was in so much pain. My husband and I purchased everything we could think of for Butterscotch. The woman from your agency that met us was great, I don't remember her name but she was wonderful. I believe that Butterscotch has helped my healing process. He is an absolute delight, and I am so glad we walked into pet smart that night. We love him dearly. I have enclosed several pictures. Barkley

Boss

Maureen, I wanted to send you and updated picture of Boss. He definately has personality. These were taken at Christmas time. He has brought so much love and joy to our family. Boss has been diagnosed with severe hip dysplasia, only about 10% of the ball in the socket. He had TPO surgery on his right leg about 5 weeks ago and is doing well. It is hard to keep an active puppy kenneled for 10 weeks to heal. :) Thank you again for giving us the opportunity to adopt him. I will keep you updated as he gets older. We are going to test him for the therapy dog program. I think he will be really good at that. He just loves everyone.

Boobula

Hello! Sorry I took so long to answer back. I absolutely LOVE both the kittys !! They are truly a blessing for me:) They are adjusting great! Boobula is like my little shadow! He follows me around everywhere in the house and is my lil buddy:). Stubbs is now called Edith :). She has adopted my dad ! She gets really excited whenever he is around. My dad refers to her as "his cat". hehe! They both sleep with me in my King bed, they get half and I get half :)! Thank you so much for bringing us all together!
