Animal Success Stories
As an all volunteer foster-based rescue group, successful adoption stories are the only compensation we seek! Our Foster Caretakers, who spend weeks or months loving the animals in their care, always want to know how their “babies” are doing once they have found their forever homes. We hope that the adoption of a pet is not the end of a process but the beginning of a relationship between A Second Chance Puppies and Kittens Rescue and our adoptive families. If you’ve adopted a dog or cat from us, please share your story! Success Stories and pictures can be sent to adoptions@asecondchancerescue.org.

Brady QB
I just wanted you to know that Brady, Who's name has been changed by my 9 year old daughter to Ming-Mau (he doesn't seem to mind), is doing very well. He was quiet on the ride home, but as soon as he met the family, he was talking up a storm! He immediately took to all of us, and after a few days his cold cleared up, and he was let out of seclusion to meet the other cat. They are fast friends now. Of course we all love him, like I knew we would!
I wanted to let you know that I appreciate the time you both took to talk to me and meet up with me, so that I could meet him and bring him home, thank you, again! I have attached a few photos of him, since Lauren asked me if I would try to get a few from the side so she could see his fantastic spots! I look forward to many, many happy years with Ming!
Always, Deborah Kile
Bullet
Thank you for checking in with me; I have been meaning to write to you.
I am over-the-moon with Sasha, as he is now known, although I do understand why he was named Bullet. He is the sweetest little guy. He is very affectionate, friendly and a joy to have in my family.
He was a little uneasy in the beginning, but that did not last for long. He has acclimated himself to our home and we love him dearly. He still hides for short times, but mostly he is with me and my dog, Mia. They seem to be getting along very well, which was most important to me.
He is everything I wanted for my little man. I love the cuddling and even enjoy his antics, which are quite hysterical. Boy can he play. He had a million toys and seems to be very, very happy.
I can't thank you enough for allowing me to adopt Sasha (formerly Bullet). He has made me so very happy. I honestly think Sasha is a happy little boy. He has good food, places to nap and sleep, treats and plenty of toys to play with. Most of all he is getting much needed love from me and my little Mia.
Thank you again for my gift of Sasha. Phyllis Kirschner
Blondie
Hi
We would like you to know that we love Blondie, who we now call Annie.
She is just sweet as can be. And she is doing well and adjusting nicely.
She is eating good and loves to go for walks and getting stronger everyday.
We just love her and thank you for letting us adopt her into our lives.
And thank you for all the wonderful work that you all do.
Sincerely,
Felicia and Jim
and Annie too!
Buttons
Buttons is fantastic! He is such a sweet , lovable kitty. He loves to purr in my lap, look out at the windows at the ducks and squirrels and relax on the kitty condo. I love and cherish Buttons. He has adapted well and is a wonderful addition to our family. Please forward this message to Traci Goldberg.
Thanks!
Priscilla
