Success Stories

As an all volunteer foster-based rescue group, successful adoption stories are the only compensation we seek! Our Foster Caretakers, who spend weeks or months loving the animals in their care, always want to know how their “babies” are doing once they have found their forever homes. We hope that the adoption of a pet is not the end of a process but the beginning of a relationship between A Second Chance Puppies and Kittens Rescue and our adoptive families. Eclair

Hi Maureen, First off we just want to thank you for everything, we are so thrilled with Eclair (now known as Tucker). We had a couple of quick questions if you may be able to check with his original adoption counselor. The woman at the crib he was in mentioned what kind of mix he was and we wanted to double check that so we had it accurate. We know she mentioned some type of hound. Also we were wondering what he was being fed. He has had no trouble eating what we gave him but we wanted to watch that and if need be make sure we introduce new food thru a propoer transition process. We have an appointment with our vet tomorrow morning but again I can't tell you how happy we all are. Thanks again and I'm sure we'll be in touch.

Hi Sue, Thank you so much for everything. Yes the boys were very excited. He slep well, he is such a good boy. He seems to already know to go to the sliding door to go outside for pipi and poop.
