Animal Success Stories
As an all volunteer foster-based rescue group, successful adoption stories are the only compensation we seek! Our Foster Caretakers, who spend weeks or months loving the animals in their care, always want to know how their “babies” are doing once they have found their forever homes. We hope that the adoption of a pet is not the end of a process but the beginning of a relationship between A Second Chance Puppies and Kittens Rescue and our adoptive families. If you’ve adopted a dog or cat from us, please share your story! Success Stories and pictures can be sent to adoptions@asecondchancerescue.org.

Genius
Attached is a picture of Riley (genius-chg your records) He is a great dog we love him He is 50% housebroken despite cage training and has all his shots except rabies which is April 15-stay in touch
Guppy
Well, we changed his name to Nike. He is doing great! We enjoy him so much. We have another Lab/Beagle that is a year older. They are inseparable and get along great. We take them to the dog park at least 4 times a week, walk on the beach at least twice a week and for the last couple of weekends, we've taken them to a sand bar on the intercoastal in Jupiter. They run and swim (helps with the labrador energy). I have pictures on my I Phone so will try to send some when downloaded.
On the minor negative side, we are working on the house training. For the most part, he does very well. He drinks a lot of water and needs to go out more often. We're working on him letting us know when he needs to go out. He does very well during the day while we're at work so we really can't complain too much.
We are so glad to give Nike a home.

Georgia Peach
Hi Kathy,
Georgia Peach is now Josey and she is a real sweetheart. She is growing like a weed and loves to run and fetch. We have taught her to sit, stay, and shake. She is walking on a leash and is 99% crate trained already. We really got a good puppy through your efforts and greatly appreciate your organization's work. We have recommended A Second Chance Rescue to several people and will continue to do so. We will keep you posted as to Josey's progress and adventures. I have attached a picture after a bath and on a walk for your viewing pleasure!
Good luck and best regards,
Ryan, Beth , and Josey

Gillisby
Hi to the folks at A Second Chance Rescue,
We decided to rename Gillisby and took a family vote, his new name is Cooper.
Cooper and the family are adjusting together well. We know Cooper is very loving and cute, but we naturally
think he is a real smart dog too! Cooper is a great addition to our family that includes teenagers, a cat and
an older dog. See the attached photo taken on 1/21/12 (approx. 17 weeks old, 24 pounds). We are still
unable to figure what his blood line could be, a Doberman, Rat Terrier, etc? Does A Second Chance Rescue
have any other information on Cooper that could be helpful?
A proud parent,
Tom Jackson

We look forward to keeping in touch. Pictures will follow soon :). Happy new years !! Love: Zeus, Christina & Tom.
