Goombay

Hi - I just thought I would drop a line and give you an update on Goombay. She has been such a joy! She's such a good, smart, sweet puppy. Potty training her was a breeze and she is a very welcome addition to our family. She and our cat still haven't become friends, but they're slowly figuring it out! We are so happy to have her with us - thanks for the work that you do. I've attached a photo.

Genesis

Hello, Genesis now "Bella" is doing great. She has been a great addition to our family and seems to fit in very well. We were a little nervous at first because none of the other animals seemed to want to be bothered with her but she has warmed everyone up to her playfulness including the cats. She is doing well with her house training thanks to her finding out that she can go through the cat door anytime that she wants. Also she is the first puppy that I have ever met who does not like walks. She has a tendency to walk for a half of a block and then decide that she has had enough; once she decides this she will walk on the grass and just lay down refusing to get up. Lastly she loves to play dead when she has done something wrong. We are so happy that we lucked up on your web site and I feel that we truly picked the best dog for our family. Gooffy

Hi from Yvette and Sofie, We are doing just great. She is the love of my life and we're having a wonderful time. I wanted to write earlier but I was waiting to get some good pictures and here they are. This is one of the smartest little girls, I couldn't be happier with her. What a great little dog. We're doing lots of things to keep her socialized with both people and other animals so we're busy going places and meeting new friends. Right now she is sleeping on the couch, taking her nap - she does like her naps! Matter of fact so do I. So, I'll keep you posted with more photos. Yvette

Gemma

Hello friends. We adopted Gemma, now known as Dolly, one month ago. Dolly has been a real joy to our family and she fits in perfectly. She came to us at a perfect time as we had just lost our dog, Julie, to Lymphoma. Our other dog, Bailey, is 11 years old and she loves Dolly, most of the time. Dolly is full of energy and Bailey has become more active and playful with her. Dolly loves her car rides, walks and all the kids that are always at our home. We will be taking her camping soon and I know she will love it. We are so pleased with our experience with A Second Chance Rescue, we have told our friends about it and I still view the site to look at all the dogs. Thank you so much for everything. Gund

Kathy: All is well. My daughter renamed Gund to Buddy. He is definitely spoiled rotten. Summer has sent some pics via phone. We should be moving to our new house around Juneish and he will have plenty of room to run and play. Still working on the house training though some days he does awesome and some not so good...a work in progress. Buddy is a good addition to the family and we have another baby on the way too!
