Rex now renamed Black Jack is a joy!!! he has fitted in very well with our other 4 dogs and 1 cat.he walks well on leash and has had very few accidents.he is wonderful with visitors.he was frightened of our 5 grandchildren because they were loud and noisy but started to relax . Couldent ask for a better dog!!! THANK YOU FOR RESCUEING HIM, Georgina Whitton

Rome

Hi Kathy, Sorry for the delay in my response. We have had family in town and I haven't been checking my email as much as usual. Rome (now named Tank) is doing well. I am getting used to having a dog after 15 long years! He is everything I had hoped he would be. Great with the kids and our other animals. The girls adore him. He does not chase our rabbits (who have their own pen) and the cat has told him she is the boss. He is doing well with housebreaking. I hope to start an obedience class with him shortly. He has already picked up on sit and come. He is already a much loved member of our family. Thank you for choosing us! Kathy, Walt, Marie, Shannon, and Roxanne Ellis

Dear A Second Chance Rescue:
First I would like to thank you for all that you do. My wife and I adopted “Rudy” the Chihuahua Mixed on March 7, 2009 from Petco in Wellington. Just wanted to update you guys on him and let you know he is doing great. We have a one year old daughter now and they are best friends.

He was a very unexpected addition to our family and all but our 2 cats are enjoying him. We're hoping they come around as he gets older.
