Scamp

Hello, Georgy, a.k.a. Scooby a.k.a. Bubba and formerly known as Scamp, is doing very well and is proving to be a very loyal dog, following me wherever I go. He eats like a horse and pees A LOT! Training is going well and our other dog Bebe is still adjusting to him. Georgy is more aggressive and not timid like Bebe so he has a tendency to jump in all her spots-including the one next to me. But they play well in the yard and sometimes nap together. He's already been to NY and will be going again soon and is a good passenger in the car. He will go for his rabies and the rest of his shots soon. Other than that, I'm trying to keep my sanity! Thanks for asking! Lisa Wiedecke

Shadow

Shadow is doing great, we slowly introduced him to our dog Snoop and only a few weeks later they're the best of friends! We built a tower for the cat covered in carpet with a small room at the top and he loves it! He was a great addition to the household and I'm really happy I adopted him. I'd really like to thank A Second Chance for bringing us together.

Sable

Hi Shelley. I'm doing great in my new home with my new name. My humans really love me! I have tons of room to run around which I can do whenever I want. I spend a lot of time playing with my friend, Mambo and chasing squirrels. I finally figured out that I'm supposed to go to the bathroom outside. Who knew?? I have lots of toys and I even have 2 kittens to play with. I am very healthy. I have lots of new muscles and a slick, shiny coat. My mom is so proud of how smart I am and how much I've learned. Sienna

Just wanted to let you know that Sienna, now called Cassie, is doing wonderfully. She graduated from Puppy School at The Animal House of Distinction last week, and is already 20 lbs. She loves playing with my 5 year-old daughter, and even ventures onto the pool steps every once in a while. She is s very sweet and smart dog. Sebastian

Hi Kathy! Hope the New Year has found you all well... Sebastian is doing wonderfully! He is just adorable and we all love him very much! He is doing excellent with his "potty training" and is being "tolerated" by the other four legged members of the family! :-) They will even let their guard down long enough to play with him from time to time, too! I believe he thinks Diamond is his "surrogate Mom" and likes to hang out with her whenever possible. It's adorable! Both of the kids have been pitching in with the puppy chores as well as with his training which has made it a very easy transition for all. He is very entertaining and has provided a lot of joy to our household. He is our little "rascal" and has definitely found his voice... or should I say, his "beagle howl!" :-) Everyone who meets him falls in love with him straight away. He finished his last series of shots so now he's all set... if we could only get him to stop "grazing" in the yard, it would be fantastic! :-) Thanks for checking in on us and thank you all for the wonderful and important work that you do!
