Animal Success Stories
As an all volunteer foster-based rescue group, successful adoption stories are the only compensation we seek! Our Foster Caretakers, who spend weeks or months loving the animals in their care, always want to know how their “babies” are doing once they have found their forever homes. We hope that the adoption of a pet is not the end of a process but the beginning of a relationship between A Second Chance Puppies and Kittens Rescue and our adoptive families. If you’ve adopted a dog or cat from us, please share your story! Success Stories and pictures can be sent to adoptions@asecondchancerescue.org.

Vinyl
We adopted both Viper (Peppi) and Vinyl (Sonny) and they are doing great. They are very happy and healthy. They are picking up their training very well and they are both very smart, loveable, playful and funny.

Ireland
Hi guys!
I just wanted to send a quick email.
Macey, f/k/a Ireland, was adopted by my mom blindly for me as a birthday gift! She adopted her from one of your events and after sending me a few pictures from the event, decided she’d be a perfect addition to our little family.
Macey has become to sweetest, most loving little girl on the planet! She brings levels of joy and happiness into our lives that I cannot even put into words. She loves to run and play, go on long walks with my husband and I and her favorite time of the day is snuggling our necks before she goes to sleep.
We are so thankful and so grateful for you all and what you do. There is nothing better in this world then coming home from a day at work to those big ears and little tail wagging a mile a minute with sheer happiness. She fills our hearts and our home with so much love and happiness, we are forever grateful!
I’ve attached some pictures of her, one is the day she became ours on my birthday (first family picture), the other is about a month ago and then the last one was with me yesterday for her belated 4 month birthday picture. She has grown like a weed and gets cuter by the day!

Victoria
Joey, f/k/a/ Victoria, is doing great! We bring her everywhere with us...Publix, doctors' offices, etc. If for some reason she can't go, we get a babysitter.
Her nutritionist has her at 5 pounds, from 2.5 when we got her. She's 99.9% potty trained and she's the love of our lives. He
r behavior is amazing.
We are in love with her!
Thank you.

Cubby
Cubby is a sweetheart! He is very well behaved and he is a great playmate for my one year old puppy.
They get along very well. We had a little food aggression issues between the puppies, but we working them out. We need to work on socializing him. He's a little shy of people. We have gone to some pet friendly restaurants. We will do more of that and outside events.
He loves my boyfriend, I'm jealous!
I'm really enjoying him!
