Thanks for checking in. We decided to call him Riley. He's doing great! He just turned 4 months old on August 6 and is at least 1/3 the size bigger than he was a month ago when we took him home. He went in for the complimentary check up and got his other puppy shot. He will be going back soon to get the rabies shot and any additional shots that are necessary.

He is adjusting very well too! We have 2 cats at home and now he and one of them are like "Milo & Otis." We live on a street with a dead end so there's hardly any traffic and when I take Riley out on a walk, the cat comes too! It's hilarious. We are still working on potty training with him but he is definitely getting better. He knows how to sit, shake, lay down, and we're in the process of learning roll over. He's a great addition to our family and he is spoiled with attention, love, and plenty of playtime.

I'm so glad that we were able to adopt him and give him "A Second Chance.” I can't imagine living without him now and it's only been about 5 weeks. I have attached some pictures.

Oprah

Hello all at A Second Chance!

We are SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO beyond glad that we found Oprah and made her a part of our lives. She was a super easy puppy to train and a total joy to be around. She has a full closet of clothes and more toys than days in the year. She loves swimming and is so calm during bath time.

Her vet says she was the most behaved dog getting shots that he has seen in such a long time. We could not have asked for a more perfect pet.

By the way we found out she is a Jackabee (Jack Russell and Beagle). I have attached a few photos of her at home. She knows her home and is so protective of it. Even my mom's health has improved more than expected, just from playing with her everyday.

Hi! Lady, now Lola, is doing great overall. She is adjusting well. We have a few issues that I'm going to get a trainer to address, but my husband & I are working on them in the interim. :)

She's a happy girl and I think she's enjoying her new life. :) Attached a few pics.

We love Charlie, and Charlie has become a very special part of our family, just look at the picture!

Charlie loves to play in the yard and chase all the critters around, and play with Nico. They have had a fight over a bone, but what dogs don't! They are about the same size so no harm done.

We love Charlie, he is home.

Lucey

Sorry it has taken me so long to reply but I have been out of town. Lucey is a wonderful addition to our family. She and my Lab have become the best of friends and she even gets along with my cats! She is a lizard-chaser of the highest order and finds plenty of them to pounce on in my yard. We had some initial problems with colitis and then worms but I think that is under control now.
