Welcome to A Second Chance

As an all volunteer foster-based rescue group, successful adoption stories are the only compensation we seek! Our Foster Caretakers, who spend weeks or months loving the animals in their care, always want to know how their “babies” are doing once they have found their forever homes. We hope that the adoption of a pet is not the end of a process but the beginning of a relationship between A Second Chance Puppies and Kittens Rescue and our adoptive families. Hi Kathy, It is now one year since LILY graced our home. You have NO idea how much joy she has brought to us. Our grandchildren adore her and play with her for hours. They say she is their doggie. When they are around Lily, her playful personality comes out and she is a riot. She is always right in the middle of the family fun and a very important part. Lily does all the cute things a dog does, ie: sit, paw, roll over and she stands up, puts her paws on my sholders when asked to give mommy ooooh hugs. We have always had dogs, but our LILY tops the charts. This is the kindest and sweetest dog to adopt us. We know all the tiresome work you put into Lily and her puppies. The love and time are quite obvious to us. She is a WINNER! All we can say is thank you from the bottom of our hearts, for all you did to keep our Lily safe and sweet. Bonnie and Lou
