Welcome to A Second Chance

As an all volunteer foster-based rescue group, successful adoption stories are the only compensation we seek! Our Foster Caretakers, who spend weeks or months loving the animals in their care, always want to know how their “babies” are doing once they have found their forever homes. We hope that the adoption of a pet is not the end of a process but the beginning of a relationship between A Second Chance Puppies and Kittens Rescue and our adoptive families. Jumper

Hi! Kathy Thank you for the follow up email concerning Jumper. We actually changed his name to Jersey and he responds to it. He is adjusting wonderfully and he is a very sweet puppy. The first few days he was sooooo Shy it took him a little while to finally get used to us and his big borther Luke. They both love each other very much. Jersey whimpers when they are apart for just a few moments. He became fully potty trained the next day we brought him home. My girls have been training him (sit, down, up, roll over, high 5). Jersey and Luke have been to Juno Beach, & the Wellington Dog Park to get some of that puppy energy out of them. They also go for a walk/run everynight at 8pm around my entire Community. Here are some pictures of Jersey's first visit last week to Juno Beach. We Love Jersey very much and we have no regrets in his Adoption. Take care, Barbara Perez & Family
