As an all volunteer foster-based rescue group, successful adoption stories are the only compensation we seek! Our Foster Caretakers, who spend weeks or months loving the animals in their care, always want to know how their “babies” are doing once they have found their forever homes. We hope that the adoption of a pet is not the end of a process but the beginning of a relationship between A Second Chance Puppies and Kittens Rescue and our adoptive families. Hello, I recently adopted Carmen from you guys and am just following up per your request. She is a very excited puppy and loves to give kisses. She enjoys playing and running a lot and actually isn't too bad with chewing. My main problem is she likes to poop in her crate and smear it all over the place. It wears down my patience a bit sometimes but I think she is warming up to the baths lol. I have faith she will get it eventually since she does also go to the bathroom outside.
