Welcome to A Second Chance

As an all volunteer foster-based rescue group, successful adoption stories are the only compensation we seek! Our Foster Caretakers, who spend weeks or months loving the animals in their care, always want to know how their “babies” are doing once they have found their forever homes. We hope that the adoption of a pet is not the end of a process but the beginning of a relationship between A Second Chance Puppies and Kittens Rescue and our adoptive families. Amaretto

Kathy, Macey (Amaretto) is doing great! She is such a loving, energetic dog. She was already crate trained and goes right in when it is bedtime. Macey really loves my daughter Courtney. They go rollerblading together every day and are working on playing fetch. Macey loves to ride in the car, so I take her on my daily school runs. She had her first vet appointment since we got her and got a clean bill of health. She has gained 5 lbs! Please tell Ruth thank you for the puppy pictures of Macey that she sent me. We have one of them as our computer wallpaper!! She was such a cute puppy. Thanks again for all the work that you do and the help you gave us in finding Macey.
