Welcome to A Second Chance

As an all volunteer foster-based rescue group, successful adoption stories are the only compensation we seek! Our Foster Caretakers, who spend weeks or months loving the animals in their care, always want to know how their “babies” are doing once they have found their forever homes. We hope that the adoption of a pet is not the end of a process but the beginning of a relationship between A Second Chance Puppies and Kittens Rescue and our adoptive families. Hiya Kathy, Thank you so much, Gwen is doing great she is putting on some weight and plays really hard with our cat. Luckily she is very very fast. Wondering of a distant greyhound in the mutt family lines?? LOL She is just a happy lil puppy. Seems a bit skittish at times, but our children can be really loud and crazy when they get excited, but she does love the quiet time in her "house" which is at the foot of our bed. Tends to put herself to the crate when she needs some alone time. She runs hard in our back yard and does thoroughly enjoys the scraps our kids drops if she is faster than me or my wife when it comes to seeing the food. But 98% of her diet is the Kirkland premium dog food which she loves. I have attached some random photos of Gwen's new life and friends.
