As an all volunteer foster-based rescue group, successful adoption stories are the only compensation we seek! Our Foster Caretakers, who spend weeks or months loving the animals in their care, always want to know how their “babies” are doing once they have found their forever homes. We hope that the adoption of a pet is not the end of a process but the beginning of a relationship between A Second Chance Puppies and Kittens Rescue and our adoptive families. hi this is candy's adoptive mom. im glad i took her because she's a little special needs. she has flashbacks and cries and wets herself sometimes when you try to pick her up or you touch her wrong. or even bursh near her with a foot or broom. lately she's bneen very happpy and relxed , however, im going to put her on rescue remedy. or bockwort drops. you cannot chastise her for anything or she will fall apart, but she's pretty house trianed so i just don't bug her about it. she's also terrified of rainstorms. she and malinda are very, veryclose, they sleep together and play together. we're a happy home.
