Welcome to A Second Chance

As an all volunteer foster-based rescue group, successful adoption stories are the only compensation we seek! Our Foster Caretakers, who spend weeks or months loving the animals in their care, always want to know how their “babies” are doing once they have found their forever homes. We hope that the adoption of a pet is not the end of a process but the beginning of a relationship between A Second Chance Puppies and Kittens Rescue and our adoptive families. What a precious sweet girl is this dog! She has adapted well to our schedule, and she is 95% potty trained. She eats and sleeps well, and gets along very nicely with our nuerotic male chihuahua mix. They chase each other endlessly. She just had another shot on Saturday. Next, rabies vaccine etc at 16 weeks. I would guess she is about 8 lbs and was maybe 3 when we got her. We love her! I give your website out constantly. Michelle Padilla was incredibly patient and informative with me. She worked with me about 6 months to find the perfect puppy. Thank you so much!
