Welcome to A Second Chance

As an all volunteer foster-based rescue group, successful adoption stories are the only compensation we seek! Our Foster Caretakers, who spend weeks or months loving the animals in their care, always want to know how their “babies” are doing once they have found their forever homes. We hope that the adoption of a pet is not the end of a process but the beginning of a relationship between A Second Chance Puppies and Kittens Rescue and our adoptive families. Louie is doing just fine. He likes natural dog food, no potatoes or grains. He has taking a found liking to rolls of toilet paper, shredding them when he can. It only took 3 rolls to train us. Yes it’s up higher now. He likes the back yard, it seams he has mole in his family, when he thinks your not looking he starts a hole. I guess his favorite toy is a soft turtle, if you lie on the floor and throw it he will bring it back, laying down next to you for a little tug of war. All and all we are having fun.
