Welcome to A Second Chance

As an all volunteer foster-based rescue group, successful adoption stories are the only compensation we seek! Our Foster Caretakers, who spend weeks or months loving the animals in their care, always want to know how their “babies” are doing once they have found their forever homes. We hope that the adoption of a pet is not the end of a process but the beginning of a relationship between A Second Chance Puppies and Kittens Rescue and our adoptive families. Sunshine

Hello Everyone, I want to thank you for such a wonderful girl. Skye as you know her as "Sunshine" is growing every day! She loves jumping over fallen trees and running up mounds that are on our property. She is already housebroken ! What a smart girl. She is very outgoing and playful, and when it is just us old folks at home, she is mellow and loving. She has already become a social butterfly. She loves to go to the beach with my daughter and her friends. I have the always bored niece, who never wants to leave anymore. Everyone loves her to pieces!!! She has my husband wrapped around her paw! Thank you again! I have given your rescue website to anyone who has asked about Skye. I hope her brothers and sisters have made their new parents just as happy.
