Welcome to A Second Chance

As an all volunteer foster-based rescue group, successful adoption stories are the only compensation we seek! Our Foster Caretakers, who spend weeks or months loving the animals in their care, always want to know how their “babies” are doing once they have found their forever homes. We hope that the adoption of a pet is not the end of a process but the beginning of a relationship between A Second Chance Puppies and Kittens Rescue and our adoptive families. Sway

Hi Kathy, Case # 1009D1395..So happy to see a letter from you to see how Sway is doing. After our adoption of Sway on January 16, 2011 we had our Vet come by 3 days later to check him out , and go over his Vaccinations. He said that Sway is a beautiful healthy little boy.. He has adjusted so well to our other puppy Comet, who is 1 month older, and was rescued elsewhere. The two have become inseparable.. They do everything together!!!!!!!!! They share every single toy, and have been potty trained together. I have to say, Sway took to that very quickly. He is incredibly smart, and may I say a very big mush.. He loves to snuggle. He does well when we have to leave the house, Sway and our other puppy have their own crates, and lay side by side and are happy with that. We are so lucky to have him to complete our family. Thank you for doing what you do, and giving Sway a second chance at life. This is his forever home. I am sending you pictures so you can see what a gorgeous little boy he is, and also a picture with our other puppy.. Thanks again!!!! I will be happy to send updates when asked......
