Welcome to A Second Chance

As an all volunteer foster-based rescue group, successful adoption stories are the only compensation we seek! Our Foster Caretakers, who spend weeks or months loving the animals in their care, always want to know how their “babies” are doing once they have found their forever homes. We hope that the adoption of a pet is not the end of a process but the beginning of a relationship between A Second Chance Puppies and Kittens Rescue and our adoptive families. Destiny

Hey, Destiny is doing GREAT! We changed her name to Kouki (cookie). She's getting so big and is already almost 9lbs. She is craaaazy, but we love her! She loves people and other dogs. When I take her to Petsmart she wants to see EVERYONE regardless of how much bigger the dog is than her. She's so playful and loves my cats and they are warming up to her, slowly. She loves to run in the backyard and she loves car rides except for when she ends up at the vet, haha. She's all caught up on her shots and is getting her rabies shot on 3/11 and is also on Revolution. Thanks, Erica
