Welcome to A Second Chance

As an all volunteer foster-based rescue group, successful adoption stories are the only compensation we seek! Our Foster Caretakers, who spend weeks or months loving the animals in their care, always want to know how their “babies” are doing once they have found their forever homes. We hope that the adoption of a pet is not the end of a process but the beginning of a relationship between A Second Chance Puppies and Kittens Rescue and our adoptive families. Boo

Hi Kathy, Boo is doing great. She is hysterical she makes us laugh every day. And she is such a diva! It is her way or no way :) But we love her. She sleeps on our bed every night and lays on our lap when we are on the couch. We are still working on potty training but she is doing better with that. She is healthy and growing very quickly. Our dog that we've had for 5 years loves her and they are constantly running around, wrestling, and taking each other's toys. She keeps him distracted so he is not so lonely during the day and is not clinging to us when we get home which is what we were hoping for. They really enjoy each other's company. She is a perfect addition to our family :) It was such a pleasure to adopt a dog with such a big personality who was 100% healthy. You have a great organization.
