Welcome to A Second Chance

As an all volunteer foster-based rescue group, successful adoption stories are the only compensation we seek! Our Foster Caretakers, who spend weeks or months loving the animals in their care, always want to know how their “babies” are doing once they have found their forever homes. We hope that the adoption of a pet is not the end of a process but the beginning of a relationship between A Second Chance Puppies and Kittens Rescue and our adoptive families. Owen

Everything is fantastic with Owen (now Henry). He is adjusting very well and is such a joy to have in our home. My two older dogs have been really good with Henry - sometimes he has a little too much puppy energy for them, but my lab mix loves to play with him and they all curl up together to take a nap. Henry will start puppy kindergarten on Monday, but he already knows "sit" and "stay" and is not having any accidents in the house. Thank you for checking on us and thanks so much for the opportunity to adopt Henry. He has been a welcome and wonderful addition to our home.
