Welcome to A Second Chance

As an all volunteer foster-based rescue group, successful adoption stories are the only compensation we seek! Our Foster Caretakers, who spend weeks or months loving the animals in their care, always want to know how their “babies” are doing once they have found their forever homes. We hope that the adoption of a pet is not the end of a process but the beginning of a relationship between A Second Chance Puppies and Kittens Rescue and our adoptive families. Opie

I've been away for a little bit. Opie is now Smokey. He is such a joy!! He is very smart and seems to be very happy. He has lots of toys to run with. He's growing every day. He is now about 15 pounds. The only thing I am having a little difficulty with is, how do you train him to train you to let him go outside. He is so quiet sometimes and I have to keep my eye on him all the time to see if he is at the door. Other than that we are having a wonderful time. May God bless all of you for such a wonderful job you are doing. Thanks so much for making it possible for me to once again have a really good companion. --
