Welcome to A Second Chance

As an all volunteer foster-based rescue group, successful adoption stories are the only compensation we seek! Our Foster Caretakers, who spend weeks or months loving the animals in their care, always want to know how their “babies” are doing once they have found their forever homes. We hope that the adoption of a pet is not the end of a process but the beginning of a relationship between A Second Chance Puppies and Kittens Rescue and our adoptive families. He's doing great! He follows my wife everywhere and really loves the attention he gets from all three kids. He even gets along great with our other two mini pins. He's the perfect lap dog. He spends hours in bed with my wife watching television and he has 4 beds in several rooms of the house. You can always find him in one of them during the day. At night, he took ownership of a large chaise lounge chair in my wife's room and sleeps there all night. Once he settles in, on top of a huge pillow, he doesnt move all night. He won't even get up in the morning until he's ready to. It's pretty comical actually. He's a perfect fit. He still doesn't like men, but he's slowly getting used to me. I give him lots of attention so he's starting to warm up some. I'll send a pic in another email, don't think my phone will let me attach one with an email. He's a great lil dude and we all seem very happy.
