Welcome to A Second Chance

As an all volunteer foster-based rescue group, successful adoption stories are the only compensation we seek! Our Foster Caretakers, who spend weeks or months loving the animals in their care, always want to know how their “babies” are doing once they have found their forever homes. We hope that the adoption of a pet is not the end of a process but the beginning of a relationship between A Second Chance Puppies and Kittens Rescue and our adoptive families. Brandi

Well Lady, formally known as Brandi, is doing very well in her new home. Shes usually well behaved but does turn into a puppy sometimes. Shes also making new friends with dogs in the neighborhood and the local dog park. Shes also getting bigger and bigger. When we got her she was around 13lbs and shes now over 20. We are continually training her and she knows her name and "No." She also will sit when told and she has learned to wait for her food to be served before she attacks the bowl. Potty training is also going very well. Accidents are very rare now unless we aren't paying attention to the signs. We are soo happy we decided to make the commitment to a new dog and look forward to many years of love and fun. Thank you for everything!!! Nick and Erin. --
