Welcome to A Second Chance

As an all volunteer foster-based rescue group, successful adoption stories are the only compensation we seek! Our Foster Caretakers, who spend weeks or months loving the animals in their care, always want to know how their “babies” are doing once they have found their forever homes. We hope that the adoption of a pet is not the end of a process but the beginning of a relationship between A Second Chance Puppies and Kittens Rescue and our adoptive families. Scamp

Hello, Georgy, a.k.a. Scooby a.k.a. Bubba and formerly known as Scamp, is doing very well and is proving to be a very loyal dog, following me wherever I go. He eats like a horse and pees A LOT! Training is going well and our other dog Bebe is still adjusting to him. Georgy is more aggressive and not timid like Bebe so he has a tendency to jump in all her spots-including the one next to me. But they play well in the yard and sometimes nap together. He's already been to NY and will be going again soon and is a good passenger in the car. He will go for his rabies and the rest of his shots soon. Other than that, I'm trying to keep my sanity! Thanks for asking! Lisa Wiedecke
