Welcome to A Second Chance

As an all volunteer foster-based rescue group, successful adoption stories are the only compensation we seek! Our Foster Caretakers, who spend weeks or months loving the animals in their care, always want to know how their “babies” are doing once they have found their forever homes. We hope that the adoption of a pet is not the end of a process but the beginning of a relationship between A Second Chance Puppies and Kittens Rescue and our adoptive families. Rome

Hi Kathy, Sorry for the delay in my response. We have had family in town and I haven't been checking my email as much as usual. Rome (now named Tank) is doing well. I am getting used to having a dog after 15 long years! He is everything I had hoped he would be. Great with the kids and our other animals. The girls adore him. He does not chase our rabbits (who have their own pen) and the cat has told him she is the boss. He is doing well with housebreaking. I hope to start an obedience class with him shortly.
