Welcome to A Second Chance

As an all volunteer foster-based rescue group, successful adoption stories are the only compensation we seek! Our Foster Caretakers, who spend weeks or months loving the animals in their care, always want to know how their “babies” are doing once they have found their forever homes. We hope that the adoption of a pet is not the end of a process but the beginning of a relationship between A Second Chance Puppies and Kittens Rescue and our adoptive families. Oprah

Hello all at A Second Chance!

We are SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO beyond glad that we found Oprah and made her a part of our lives. She was a super easy puppy to train and a total joy to be around. She has a full closet of clothes and more toys than days in the year. She loves swimming and is so calm during bath time.

Her vet says she was the most behaved dog getting shots that he has seen in such a long time. We could not have asked for a more perfect pet.

By the way we found out she is a Jackabee (Jack Russell and Beagle). I have attached a few photos of her at home. She knows her home and is so protective of it. Even my mom's health has improved more than expected, just from playing with her everyday.
