Welcome to A Second Chance

As an all volunteer foster-based rescue group, successful adoption stories are the only compensation we seek! Our Foster Caretakers, who spend weeks or months loving the animals in their care, always want to know how their “babies” are doing once they have found their forever homes. We hope that the adoption of a pet is not the end of a process but the beginning of a relationship between A Second Chance Puppies and Kittens Rescue and our adoptive families. Brooklyn

Brooklyn has adjusted beautifully to our home. We did change her name to Daisy which did not seem to bother her either. We already had a 7-year-old Boston Terrier and a 14-year-old chihuahua when we adopted Daisy. She gets along beautifully with both dogs, but especially the Boston. They are both very playful and have fun playing together. An added note, we also appreicate Lauren Mitchell, Daisy's (Brooklyn's) foster. She was very patient and encouraging when working with us, which led directly to the success of the whole process for us. We're very happy with the addition of Daisy to our household.
