Welcome to A Second Chance

As an all volunteer foster-based rescue group, successful adoption stories are the only compensation we seek! Our Foster Caretakers, who spend weeks or months loving the animals in their care, always want to know how their “babies” are doing once they have found their forever homes. We hope that the adoption of a pet is not the end of a process but the beginning of a relationship between A Second Chance Puppies and Kittens Rescue and our adoptive families. Hi Kathy, Vina (now Bailey) is doing great! I attached some photos from today. She is growing like a weed and spoiled, spoiled spoiled :) we LOVE her so much! She has helped us so much with our home sickness as well (just moving from PA). Potty trianing is at almsot 100% Crate trianing is at 100%. As a matter of fact, her "bed" is in our room beside our bed. So when we say "night night time" she grabs her toy and in she goes :). She is so great! I cant tell you enough how much we love her! We are hoping to be able to plan a trip up to PA the first of the year, and cant wait to take her along! Thank you again soooo very much for her! She is treated like our kid and we look forward to a lifetime of love and fun with her! ~Kasey & JR~
