Welcome to A Second Chance

As an all volunteer foster-based rescue group, successful adoption stories are the only compensation we seek! Our Foster Caretakers, who spend weeks or months loving the animals in their care, always want to know how their “babies” are doing once they have found their forever homes. We hope that the adoption of a pet is not the end of a process but the beginning of a relationship between A Second Chance Puppies and Kittens Rescue and our adoptive families. Big Boy

Hello Kathy, Big Boy who we renamed Brutus is doing great. Within about a week here at his new home he learned to use the dogie door by watching our other dog use it to go in and out. He loves to run around the back yard and chase he toys we throw for him to run after. We are signing him up for the next training classes for puppies at Pet smart. I think the training we be very good for him when we take him to parks and other places and when we walk him on his leash. He is growing so fast. We have a collar for him that is adjustable, and so far I have had to adjust it twice. Once again thank you for letting us adopt Brutus and make him part of our family.
