Welcome to A Second Chance

As an all volunteer foster-based rescue group, successful adoption stories are the only compensation we seek! Our Foster Caretakers, who spend weeks or months loving the animals in their care, always want to know how their “babies” are doing once they have found their forever homes. We hope that the adoption of a pet is not the end of a process but the beginning of a relationship between A Second Chance Puppies and Kittens Rescue and our adoptive families. Whitley

Hi, and thank you for checking up on Whiley (who's name is now Riley). Anyway he is doing very well, and is VERY calm (for puppy). We have been teaching him how to sit and are now working to lie down and stay. He is technically crate trained and house broken. Riley is very friendly toward people and animals. We have been socializing with people and other dogs. One of Riley's best puppy friends is Max (who's old name was Fox who also came from a second chance). Riley is very bouncy, he also dose the same pointing thing that pointers do so we think he's part pointer. He is a very good boy and we are very lucky to have him! Thanks, Riley's New Family
