Animal Success Stories

As an all volunteer foster-based rescue group, successful adoption stories are the only compensation we seek!  Our Foster Caretakers, who spend weeks or months loving the animals in their care, always want to know how their “babies” are doing once they have found their forever homes.  We hope that the adoption of a pet is not the end of a process but the beginning of a relationship between A Second Chance Puppies and Kittens Rescue and our adoptive families.  If you’ve adopted a dog or cat from us, please share your story!  Success Stories and pictures can be sent to adoptions@asecondchancerescue.org.

Well, we changed his name to Nike. He is doing great! We enjoy him so much. We have another Lab/Beagle that is a year older. They are inseparable and get along great. We take them to the dog park at least 4 times a week, walk on the beach at least twice a week and for the last couple of weekends, we've taken them to a sand bar on the intercoastal in Jupiter. They run and swim (helps with the labrador energy). I have pictures on my I Phone so will try to send some when downloaded. On the minor negative side, we are working on the house training. For the most part, he does very well. He drinks a lot of water and needs to go out more often. We're working on him letting us know when he needs to go out. He does very well during the day while we're at work so we really can't complain too much. We are so glad to give Nike a home. Carla
