Welcome to A Second Chance

As an all volunteer foster-based rescue group, successful adoption stories are the only compensation we seek! Our Foster Caretakers, who spend weeks or months loving the animals in their care, always want to know how their “babies” are doing once they have found their forever homes. We hope that the adoption of a pet is not the end of a process but the beginning of a relationship between A Second Chance Puppies and Kittens Rescue and our adoptive families. Hi Second Chance! This is Arielle Nicholls emailing you back. Duke is doing great! He seems to like us a lot and the whole family just adores him. We love him so much that we've actually scheduled all of our work and classes around him! He behaves fantastically and he's learning quickly, with only has a few accidents here and there. Otherwise, he's adjusting greatly and quickly. And because he's already a member of the family, we've decided to give him a new name: Dexter Nicholls! Now he's offically one of us. I've attached some pictures of Dexter with this email, and you are welcome to put in on any websites. But hopefully Dexter will be around for some events that you are holding so you can see him in person. Thank you so much for helping me find the best puppy in the world.
