Welcome to A Second Chance

As an all volunteer foster-based rescue group, successful adoption stories are the only compensation we seek! Our Foster Caretakers, who spend weeks or months loving the animals in their care, always want to know how their “babies” are doing once they have found their forever homes. We hope that the adoption of a pet is not the end of a process but the beginning of a relationship between A Second Chance Puppies and Kittens Rescue and our adoptive families. Gin-jur

Hello!

It's been about two and a half weeks since we adopted Artemis (formerly Gin-Jur) and we are in love!

She was so shy when we first brought her home and she didn't want to move. She slowly came out of her shell and became our playful kitten. She loves her catnaps under the comforter on our bed and cuddling every night. She likes playing with boxes and her little toy mice.

She is so spunky but very affectionate. Artemis spends a lot of time on her window sill checking out the world and chasing her ball around the house. She has the most adorable squeak but usually she is pretty quiet.

She is doing so well and she fits right in. I am so glad we were able to adopt her and she has definitely brightened our lives!
