Welcome to A Second Chance

As an all volunteer foster-based rescue group, successful adoption stories are the only compensation we seek! Our Foster Caretakers, who spend weeks or months loving the animals in their care, always want to know how their “babies” are doing once they have found their forever homes. We hope that the adoption of a pet is not the end of a process but the beginning of a relationship between A Second Chance Puppies and Kittens Rescue and our adoptive families. Tyson

Over all Tyson is a hard headed and very stubborn, that has to do with the bulldog in his blood. He is learning the rules slow but sure. He doesn't have a mean bone in his body and if we both live through his puppy stuff he will be a wonderful dog! He does well on a leash and likes going for walks. He gets into things when I'm gone for long periods but it's nothing serious and to be expected. When I come back in, he's always glad to see me.

Tyson is said to be part boxer and I suspect he also has some pit blood. I've had ten boxers during my lifetime, some more challenging than others. For the most part they were all great dogs in time, so Tyson fits the bill and I knew he was going to be a little more of a challenge than some I've had in the past. Over all he seems smart and very teachable.
